Cape Cod Hockey is a hockey school for passionate players who desire to play at a higher level.
We are very excited to continue our dynamic training school, Cape Cod Hockey, at Tony Kent Arena! Bringing quality coaching to Cape Cod. We welcome all dedicated players, mites up through high school to join us this Summer. Our school will run Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: July 9 – August 17, 2018

Chris played four years of NCAA DIII varsity hockey and lacrosse at the University of New England from 2013-2017. While at UNE his team went from last place in the league to a nationally ranked team. Prior to UNE, he was a captain of the New England Wolves in the EHL and played high school hockey for Buckingham Browne and Nichols. “To me there is nothing that I enjoy more than being on the ice. As a coach, I am constantly looking for ways that I can improve myself along with my peers and the players that I coach.”

Evan Jones has 10 Years of training experience as a Performance Coach and Trainer. He is a former NCAA DIII captain of Nichols College. Evan has always been passionate about hockey and health. His experience in the mental and physical aspects of hockey make him a great resource and coach for Cape Cod Hockey. He is also the founder of A Positive Start, a high intensity training program combined with positive psychology.

Kyle Shapiro, is currently playing with the Jacksonville Icemen in the ECHL, affiliate of the NHL’s Winnipeg Jets. After graduating from Nichols College where he lead his team to multiple successful seasons, Kyle began his professional career and hasn’t looked back. His passion for the game and constant goal of improvement make him an excellent player and skills coach during the off season. Kyle spends his summers training for the upcoming season, as well as coaching the youth. His goal is to pass on the knowledge that he has gained over his career to the next generation of hockey players. “I’m excited to spend this summer on the Cape and work with kids on the ice, prep for next season, and maybe mix in a couple beach days.”

 

 


Stefan Demopoulos - Cape Cod Hockey Skill Development Coach

Stefan Demopoulos has 20+ consecutive years of on-ice experience. He played NCAA Division 1 at Providence College where he won a National Championship in 2015. Prior to that he played two years in the USHL for the Omaha Lancers and AAA Hockey for Mid-Fairfield Blues in Southern Connecticut. Additionally, he played one year at Shattuck St Mary’s and three years at Avon Old Farms where he won a New England Championship. “I Emphasize fun, team work, and player development. While keeping in mind the life lessons hockey can teach about character, leadership, confidence, and accountability.”

Anton is currently playing for the Lawrence University, he trained on Cape Cod prior to that and has been working with local youth and high school goalies in the summers. “My objective is to provide a solid and effective framework for young goalies to build their individual game upon. Each goalie unique strengths and weaknesses, and I will teach them how to maximize their own style of play while improving on existing weaknesses. I aim to establish a strong mindset in each student that will emphasize work ethic, persistence, mental strength, and most importantly, enjoyment in the game!”
